I have 10 more days until I go home! YAY! I can't even believe it. Back to work, living with parents and fighting with my brother. yay me.
The plus side is that there are a bunch of good shows this summer, I get to see people that I miss dearly, I get my own room, no school, good/healthy food, $$$$ (I'm so broke right now but as soon as I get home I can deposit my tax return and I will be golden!) ha!
I have grown so close to a few people here. Now, I will miss them. I can't win. :\ I will never live close to all my friends any more. High school wasn't all that bad, was it?
In some respects it was.
GAH! How exciting! Summer starts in 10 days.

finals blow. expecting you to remember shit you did 14 weeks ago. ha
i had my math final this morning. eh...whatever.
management final on wednesday at 10:20.
planets final on saturday at 10:20.
and i have to take a sociology final online sometime before friday.
lots of studying awaits me.

Today was a good day! This weekend overall was AMAZING! I love being home! I love my friends. I love my family. I love my life right now. I'm sad that I have to go back to school tomorrow but I'll be back in 3 weeks FOR 3 weeks! It will be awesome! Then I'll go back to school for a long time then I'll come home for spring break then I'll leave and then I'll be back for like 4 months! GAH!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait until this year is through! Hopefully I'll accomplish something...

Since coming back to school after October break I'm a much happier person. Recently I've been having a lot of fun here, my roommate's friends are pretty cool, at least the guys we hang out with. I doubt I would like her "girlfriends" as much. Yes that's right she says "girlfriends", I don't think I've ever said that in my life! Weird. We are seriously so different. I don't understand her at all. She is always worried about what other people think of her, and is always trying to impress people, and it ends up backfiring on her because she becomes boastful/a know-it-all, and starts rattling off things she learned in class. Who the eff does that?! She is very selfish as well. She pisses me off. Anyway I shall not use this to bad mouth my roommate. She is a nice person for the most part....I guess.
update: she is a stereotypical female and a conniving bitch.
New Redwalls album and drummer (good bye ben greeno)...and another show I am going to miss. Grrrrr... I swear I will never see them. :(

Turbo Fruits was AWESOME!!! my sharpie story is hilarious.
October break ruled!!!!!!!! I'm not looking forward to a 5 day week next week! I've had two 3 day weeks in a row! UGH!

So today I had my first 2 exams of college. I don't think they went that great. Whatever. haha
I've decided to look into majors that I would find easy. I know this sounds ridiculous but I'm deciding my career on what comes naturally to me instead of what I love...because I can't seem to find a career that I will love. I can have a nice boring job and then have LOTS of fun on the side. haha We'll see.
Congratulations to Krisan, Kari, and Catalina for getting the Mystery Jets and Jamie T shows combined! That is soooooo crazy! and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exciting! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I'm jealous. haha But you guys seriously deserve it....you've been through way too much for it not to work out in the end! :D
I can't wait until the wedding. I'm soooo excited to go home again. Though I'm having more and more fun here and I'm beginning to like it ::gasp::...I also miss home more and more. I'm very nostalgic lately. Something I realized today....the way a "typical" girl acts ...is WEIRD. My roommate asked me yesterday or the day before if my self-confidence issues were because I didn't have a boyfriend. WTF??? I almost smacked her for thinking me so shallow...then I heard her talking to her friend on the phone and her friend was crying about not having a boyfriend! GAH! I couldn't believe it! People actually think like that?

So yesterday was fun. My favorite day of the weekend. duh. though friday was good too...just not as good.
-moving to nashville in less than 2 years. I can't do this school thing. it sucks.
-had good dreams last night. yum....

So this weekend is going to be awesome!!! Go home on Friday and hang with Kari and Krisan, then maybe Steak N Shake at wee hours of the morning. Then Saturday: shop, visit others, visit Dad. Sunday is Krisan's birthday! YAY! Monday: beach and then back to school :(

So college isn't as bad as I thought it would be...at least not yet.
I have 5 classes right now. Hardest thing being speech. The math class I have is Pre-cal, now I hope to god taking AP Calc has prepared me for that! I should have studied for that "test out" more. hahaha
Planets class is the only thing I haven't been to yet. But I'm going now!

I'm in college now.I miss everyone from home minus my stepdad and brother. I'm not sure if I like it down here...it might be growing on me though. I keep telling everyone I'm having fun but I'm not sure of it. There are spurts of fun followed by awkwardness and not fun activities... I find myself wanting to be with people that are 2 hours away.
I'll get through it ...I'll try to have fun. And if I like it I'll come back next year and if I don't I won't. Simple enough. But I have to go through a lot to even make that decision...so we'll see.

LOLLAPALOOZA WAS AWESOME! Took the 7:50 train up got there around 9:30. No one in sight that I know. They open doors at 11...well more like 11:15 but whatever. Jogged to The Cribs stage. Sat in the inside corner on the left. Then I was chatting with some guy that was there for Modest Mouse who was very nice and then all of a sudden out of nowhere here comes Brittany. Who I've known since like 4th grade but have grown apart over the years...funny we have a lot of the same musical tastes. :) But anyway I hung out with them. We sat there waiting for The Cribs. Who came out and BLEW US AWAY they were sooooo good, sooooooo amazing! and SOOOOOOO HOT! Opened with Mirror Kisses! :) I don't know the setlist but they also played Our Bovine Public, Men Needs, Girls like Mystery, Moving Pictures, I'm a Realist, Ancient History, Martell, Hey Scenesters, We Can No Longer Cheat You, & The Wrong Way To Be. One or two from there first CD as well but I unfortunately don't have it. Then they had a signing at 2:30. So we hung out in the shade until about 2 then got in line which was short. I got my CD booklet signed. Unfortunately Ryan signed over his face but wrote "Love Ryan" so it makes up for it. hahaha Then Brittany and Krystin went to see Amy Winehouse and I went hang out at the stage Kings of Leon were playing at. Lupe Fiasco's set was still going...ugh...I just don't like that kind of music...can't help it. I got IN the crowd and then when his set ended there was a swarm of people up front leaving so I headed there unfortunately there were about 40-50 Pearl Jam fans in front of me so the best I got was 10 people back in front of Jared. Not bad I don't think. :) And the best part was that no one was really tall in front of me like at Bonnaroo so I was able to see the whole stage ALMOST the entire time. Some kid did hold up a sign and DIRECTLY blocked Caleb from me...luckily he didn't hold it up too long. I would have killed him! Anyway the set was REALLY good though they had to cut out a lot from their normal set since they only had an hour. :( Eddie Vedder came on stage and "dueted" with Caleb and played the hell out tamborines. It was pretty cool, I think the best part about that is that the guys played harder...I could tell. And they were all giggly it was funny watching them. Nathan smiled at Eddie...the first time he smiled the whole set. hahaha Anway after the set ended I attempted to run (however running was impossible I rode some guys back getting out of there) to the sound booth to get the setlist. Brent was talking to someone that he was obviously friends with so I was polite and waited until he started to walk away from them. Then I asked him if he still had his setlist. He did. YES!!!!!!!!!! I thanked him, once again introduced myself and said good-bye. Found Brittany and Krystin amazingly and we hung out in the air conditioned Digital Oasis for a while to charge Brittany's phone and wait for Jasmine. When she showed up we watched a little !!! (not a fan) then went to the Modest Mouse stage where there set was already underway and there was a large crowd so we decided to just sit back and relax and watch the big screen and listen. All of a sudden I look up as Gary, Ross and friend walk by us. I smack Brittany's leg and pointed (their backs were turned by this point) she gasped. She got up and I thought she was going to follow them and then try and talk to them but she chickened out...we instead just stood there. A few people between us and them. When Modest Mouse was nearing the end they left to see TV on the Radio (didn't even want to see that) and I stayed there. When Modest Mouse was over I started walking back and when I was about to pass them I had to stop and tell them that they played an amazing set. They thanked me and Gary introduced himself to me...I love when bands do that...it's like OF COURSE I KNOW WHO YOU ARE! HAHA I told them to come back soon and then headed out. I walked to the train and came home. It was a lovely day! :) I then came home and went to a "good-bye" party for me...sunburnt and exhausted. haha

So this week that my mom has been gone has been fun! We haven't done all that much but it's nice to have the house to me and my friends! :) haha Today I don't have to work and Tara does...meaning I'm alone and will get bored quite quickly! haha
